Tennis, darts & cue sports
Individual sports show quickly how wide a bookmaker’s market list really is. The section looks at how sites differ in this area instead of rating specific events.
Tennis, darts and snooker are everywhere; golf, table tennis, badminton and padel appear at most sites, while curling and chess are rarities. In golf the each-way places depend on the tournament and the firm, and are read off the market.
British law holds no statutory list of permitted markets. What an operator holds is a licence for one category (real events, say), and the markets themselves follow its own rules, which explains why two sites rarely match.
