Bet types & in-play
What a bookmaker lets a punter build on a slip is part of what separates one site from the next. This section describes the range that licensed sites generally put on offer.
Singles, doubles, trebles and accumulators form the base. Above them stand the full-cover bets, counted in numbers of bets: Trixie 4, Yankee 11, Heinz 57, Goliath 247. After those come cash out, bet builders, live streaming, over/under lines, Asian handicap and ante-post.
The number of bets times the unit stake gives what is paid in. In-play is available from GB bookmakers; no statutory in-play rule is stated here, and cash out depends on whether the operator provides it.
